Noorbaan Fahmy leads MSD strategic and operational development, with a focus on strengthening the Maldives post-trade infrastructure, modernising depository services, and expanding digital access to the capital market.

Previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Legal Counsel of the Maldives Stock Exchange and Maldives Securities Depository.

Holds an LLB from the University of Bristol and a Masters in Public Policy and Management from SOAS, University of London.

The Business Development function is a shared function between Maldives Stock Exchange (MSE) and Maldives Securities Depository (MSD). For MSD, this function supports the growth and development of MSD services, stakeholder engagement, market awareness, and service improvement initiatives.
